There are two different kinds of terrain in the area – on the one hand flat part with many single rocks and stony fields on the north and on the other hand steep valley with many smaller sub-valleys with rocky cliffs and stones. Vegetation is very various, from clear beech woods to mixed forest with thicker green parts, almost without any seasonal undergrowth. Rich network of forest paths and roads at altitude from 400 to 530 meters above sea-level.
